About Racquel Darrian

Born on July 21, 1968 as simply Kelly Jackson, Racquel Darrian is one of the best actresses to ever grace the adult entertainment industry.  Now in her forties, Racquel has already retired, much to the disappointment of her fans.  Despite her age, many fans still wait in hope that she will soon make a comeback.  Indeed, with her lively hazel eyes and luscious brunette hair, Racquel Darrian exhibits a timeless beauty that draws attention wherever she goes.  After all, Racquel hasn’t been named the “brunette goddess of porn” for no reason.  Fans don’t give these titles lightly and Racquel Darrian certainly deserves this title.  Past the age for the average pornographic actresses, Racquel maintains her appeal to audiences both young and old.

Racquel Darrian started out as a nude model, posing for mainly lesbian photo shoots.  Eventually, she travelled to the adult film industry.  She initially performed in exclusively female scenes, but then started performing with Derrick Lane.  They got married in 1994. Additionally, she signed an exclusive contract with Vivid Video around the same time.  However, sometime down the line, she got tired of continuously performing with Derrick Lane and insisted that she gets to work with other men.  Needless to say, Racquel Darrian and Derrick Lane divorced in 2000 after being married for six years. 

Her personal life aside, Racquel Darrian led a thriving, successful career.  She was the Penthouse Pet of the Month in the October issue of 1990, and she was in Playboy’s 1996 “Strippers” pictorial.  Moreover, she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame, one of the highest honors in this industry.  Other awards include winning AVN Award’s Best Tease Performance for Bonnie and Clyde in 1993.  Furthermore, she was nominated for the AVN Award’s Best Actress in film for her performance in Original Sin in 2000. And of course, her title of “brunette goddess of porn” should never be forgotten.
